Ben Carson went from being a poor student to receiving academic honors in medical school and became director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He earned fame for his groundbreaking work separating conjoined twins. He retired from medicine in 2013, and entered politics as a Republican candidate for U.S. president. Carson currently serves as the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.


Pastor Richard O’Ffill is an author, revivalist and seminar speaker. Since 1988 his sermons have been distributed nationally and internationally by American Christian Ministries. He is bilingual, having worked five years in the South American Division.

Dr. Royce Bailey is an internist in Hendersonville, North Carolina and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Park Ridge Health-Hendersonville. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

In Memoriam


Pastor Brooks led a 60-year ministry that resulted in over 15,000 baptisms. He was a dedicated and successful evangelist and was the founding speaker for Breath of Life, a television ministry that began in 1974.


Amazing Facts was founded in Baltimore, Maryland by Joe Crews in 1965. His sermons and talks are timeless, and continue to be heard throughout the world by enthusiastic listeners.


Dr. Thrash, a pathologist and family doctor, began Uchee Pines Health Institute in Seale, AL. She authored the books, Home Remedies, Natural Remedies, Nutrition for Vegetarians, as well as books on chronic fatigue, infertility, children’s health, allergies and charcoal therapies.


Speaker Emeritus of the Voice of Prophecy international radio broadcast, Pastor Richards was invited to join the staff in 1960 to assist his father as associate director-speaker. Their roles reversed in 1969, and the father assisted his son in the radio ministry until his death in 1985. The Voice of Prophecy broadcast is heard 450 stations in North America. Overseas, programs in dozens of languages reach into nearly every country from more than 1,000 radio stations. A weekly television program airs on several satellite networks.


Dane Griffin passed away in October, 2010. He was the producer and project coordinator for the Lifestyle Matters Health Intervention Series, including videos and audiobooks on topics connected with lifestyle and mental health. He was also the director of media development for the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He was the recipient of dozens of international awards for production and broadcast quality. Dane worked with his wife, Vicki, as a team in health education ministry for many years. Most of all, Dane was a man of God and encouraged everyone around him to a life of faith and dedication to the Lord’s work.


Willard Santee, a descendant of Hugenot ancestry and early Adventist history, carries on the tradition of his heritage as a man of faith and hope. As a descendant from a people who would rather die than go with the crowd, whether in the French Inquisition or under the subjugation of the King of England, Santee has taken a stand of faith against the liberal element of higher criticism that has been so prevalent since the early 90s. Pastor Santee served as a pastor for over 35 years before passing to his rest on February 7, 2015.


Pastor Hoffman became an ordained minister in and spent most of his ministry in Public Evangelism. He taught and preached in India, China, Tasmania, and Bora Bora. Along with that, he also taught and preached throughout the Middle East and thirty-five other countries. He was the field representative for the international telecast, Faith for Today. His sermons are still sought after through American Christian Ministries all over the world. He remained faithful during an extended period of illness and passed to his rest in July 2007.


Pastor Glenn Coon’s ministry has spanned more than 60 years, awakening many to the importance of simple prayer. He started the ABCs of Prayer Crusade, which led thousands to Christ.  He can be heard on our station as well as on  Audioverse. Glen Coon died in the fall of 1996 at age 93.  His son, Glen Coon, Jr. has been carrying on the legacy of teaching the ABCs of Prayer seminars since his father’s stroke in 1987.



Leslie Hardinge was born in India. He graduated with a degree in theology from Newbold College in England. He pastored churches around the world and is well known for his teaching ministry on three continents, spanning three and a half decades.


Mervyn G. Hardinge, MD, DrPH, PhD, was born in Calcutta, India. He was the founding Dean of the School of Public Health at Loma Linda University and had broad-based experience in the fields of pharmacology, nutrition, and health. He held degrees from Harvard and Stanford and authored more than 50 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals as well as several books.


Co-founder of Wildwood Medical Missionary Institute (now Wildwood Lifestyle Center) in Wildwood, Georgia, Elder Frazee was a gifted teacher, lecturer and medical missionary. During the Great Depression, Elder Frazee invited professionals to join him as medical volunteers, which turned into the faith ministry of Wildwood.
